GuiXT window | When GuiXT is started, the windows “Screen elements” and “Script” are shown.

Alternative Editor | Instead of notepad, you can work with an editor of your choice. Call up the profile with and enter the program name of the editor you want to work with:

Tips &Tricks |
You can copy the name of a screen element from the GuiXT “Screen Elements” window, by clicking on the desired element. Then you can paste the name in your script, avoiding typos. If you have purchased Designer, you can also work with the integrated script editor in Designer. The advantage is that it shows the script structure, using different colors, and you can easily toggle between the wysiwyg mode and the text editor mode in Designer. |
